(Lol)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I loved the imagery and metaphor of this: John literally showing Sherlock where to put his hands when touching a naked man, in a context where Sherlock is grateful for John\u2019s take-charge side because he\u2019s never had to do it before. \u00a0He\u2019s never had a reason before, since he deals with corpses. \u00a0And the fact that John does something so fraught so calmly, like it\u2019s not terrifying, is what\u2019s remarkable to Sherlock. \u00a0Sherlock thinks that\u2019s just amazing, far more remarkable than the perfect locked room mystery.<\/p>\n<p>Note John is stopping the bleeding, and\u00a0<em>with Sherlock<\/em>. \u00a0<em>They\u2019re both stopping it together.<\/em> \u00a0And John does save Bainbridge\u2019s life, and Sholto\u2019s. \u00a0Blatant foreshadowing imo.<\/p>\n<p>You guys are watching porn. \u00a0If ya didn\u2019t know. \u00a0The moment John told Sherlock \u201ctake off your scarf\u201d \u2014 a huge part of Sherlock\u2019s identity and a security blanket \u2014 Sherlock didn\u2019t even hesitate and just trusted him.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>loudest-subtext-in-television: silentauroriamthereal: kearabaggins: Nurse, press here.
