Like. Him trying so hard, SO hard, to be at least a little angry at her. <br \/>John huffing and pacing and TRYING to be angry.<\/p>\n<p>And Molly just standing there because She thinks she deserves it, because why wouldn\u2019t she. She lied to him, for years, about the apparent death of his best friend in the world.<\/p>\n<p>She lied to him when seeing him in the immediate after and then at the funeral. GOD the funeral, she looked him in the eyes and said \u201cI\u2019m sorry for your loss.\u201d She kept a stiff upper lip mirroring him. But then he broke. He pulled her into a hug and said \u201cI\u2019m sorry for <em>your<\/em> loss, Molly.\u201d and She just starts sobbing.<\/p>\n<p>And she keeps apologizing. Because it\u2019s all her fault. And he has lost so much because of her. And he thinks that she is crying for Sherlock, but she just feels so guilty about it all. And when They pull away he says something to the effect of \u201cYou meant so much to him.\u201d And she presses her lips because\u00a0<em>She knows\u00a0<\/em>she is important. She\u2019s bearing the cross of being important to Sherlock Holmes as they speak. And she wants to tell him but she can\u2019t. Not without breaking every promise she made to Sherlock the night after the fall. So she lies to him for two years.<\/p>\n<p>And she watches as his fume fizzles dead and he just sinks.
