The last time I attended a science fiction convention was in (counts on fingers) 1982. It was very cool\u2014I met Douglas Adams, Harlan Ellison and Jim Henson and saw props from the upcoming Star Wars movie (still called \u201cReturn of the Jedi\u201d rather than \u201cRevenge of the Jedi)\u2014but I haven\u2019t been back to once since.<\/p>\n<p>So, question\u2014if it\u2019s a Comic con that covers mainly comics and science fiction, can I still go dressed as Nanny Ogg? Is comic fantasy allowed?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>You can totally go as that. I&rsquo;ve seen Ford and Arthur, Radagast and Gandalf&hellip; a Spaceball and Sims. Reallly anything goes. Might not get recognized, but by all means, dress what you want.<\/p>\n<p>Also I am totally jealous you got to meet that lineup of people!
