Omega doesn\u2019t have to specify \u201cman\u201d, meaning that there\u2019s only one of them there, and it\u2019s not the Doctor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Not that I have a problem with non-binary doctor, butttttt\u2026 I\u2019m pretty sure that these are evidence that the Doctor isn\u2019t a <em>human<\/em> male. Which he isn\u2019t, which is why he repeatedly refuses the title.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have a problem with enby doctor then why did you feel the need to correct the headcanon.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Okay, that comment really bugs me, because you\u2019re presuming that Gallifreyans adhere to a gender binary in the first place. When you talk about male versus female in terms of <em>gender identity<\/em> there\u2019s only one binary. What the Doctor is refusing in these examples is to be pigeonholed by specifically gendered language; they decide what to be called based on how <em>they<\/em> identify.<\/p>\n<p>The last example is\u00a0<em>especially<\/em> important because you don\u2019t have a king or queen on Gallifrey. The Doctor is genuinely intrigued by either prospect\u00a0<strong><em>even though they\u2019re usually reserved for a specific<\/em> <em>gender<\/em><\/strong>.
