on his side, they dress him and sherlock exactly the same? i am overcome by how gay this is<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah like seriously, how common is it to have the groom and the best man dressed exactly the same? Is that a thing?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>No. No it\u2019s not. I\u2019ve been to 4 weddings in my life, and NONE OF THE GROOMSMEN \/ BESTMEN DRESSED LIKE THE FRIGGIN\u2019 GROOM.<\/p>\n<p>This was so John and Sherlock\u2019s wedding.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As someone in the formalwear business, I\u2019d say eighty percent of the time, the groom differs from the groomsmen. (Mostly vest\/tie rather than the tux itself.) But even in the other twenty percent, the groom differs either by way of his boutineer\u00a0or other, small accessories. So this, I admit, is a little strange. The only difference between John and Sherlock is the tie pin John wears.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Photographers generally dislike the groom matching the groomsmen exactly because it\u2019s more difficult for an outside viewer to differentiate between who\u2019s getting married and who isn\u2019t.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m saying this as someone who has managed hundreds of weddings.
