thought I\u2019d analyze the boys\u2019 alcohol intake during John\u2019s stag, and it turned out to be pretty hefty.\u00a0 First off, their beer\/ale\/hoppy intake was 443.7 ml which is about &frac34; of a pint:<\/p>\n<figure><img alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/78.media.tumblr.com\/06cdd623525d055c690ec741413e2ace\/tumblr_inline_nlwpacsc2r1r7ejbg_500.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Then I looked at how many pubs they went to, which was 8 (!); so the number of beers was 8 (in two hours, jfc).\u00a0 The website I used for calculating blood alcohol concentration considers one drink in the UK to be half a pint, so every beer the boys had was equal to 1.5 drinks (so 12 drinks) plus the one shot John bought totals 13 drinks.<\/p>\n<p>I calculated Sherlock\u2019s blood alcohol based upon 13 drinks in two hours with a body weight of 170 pounds.<\/p>\n<figure><img alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/78.media.tumblr.com\/85e51e5b421ba8d377d09d522adba916\/tumblr_inline_nlwpwxDIKG1r7ejbg_500.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Which gives him a blood alcohol concentration of .2<\/p>\n<figure><img alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/78.media.tumblr.com\/b5c0ec9101fc1231fbc9e0cb79715fbe\/tumblr_inline_nlwpxznFlr1r7ejbg_500.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Which is pretty intoxicated.\u00a0 John is even worse because he is smaller than Sherlock, I estimate his weight at 140:<\/p>\n<figure><img alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/78.media.tumblr.com\/d31fccabcd796d7eee8f7bfdebeadd5e\/tumblr_inline_nlwq40TbvY1r7ejbg_500.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Then they had an unknown quantity back at Baker Street. No wonder they both fell asleep at different times.\u00a0 And Sherlock got sick.
