awesome thing about Eeyore is that even though he is basically clinically depressed, he still gets invited to participate in adventures and shenanigans with all of his friends. And they never expect him to pretend to feel happy, they just love him anyway, and they never leave him behind or ask him to change.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Oh<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>oh<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And he does feel happy, though. He can <i>be<\/i> happy. He just doesn\u2019t show it as much as the others do.<br \/>There was a whole episode about that &#8211; Piglet sees him sitting on a hilltop and thinks he\u2019s sadder than usual, and does all he can to cheer him up. Nothing works and the next day he\u2019s back on the hill, and Piglet apologizes because he thinks in trying to help, he just made him sad again and\u00a0\u201dI don\u2019t come here when I\u2019m\u00a0<i>sad.\u00a0<\/i>I come up here because I\u2019m\u00a0<i>happy.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s just something\u00a0<i>about<\/i> that\u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And there was the whole thing with the Pooh sticks game, which I\u2019ll never forget \u2014 if memory serves, he invented it, and they all had fun doing it together.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He is not alone. He is never alone, even when he thinks he is. That\u2019s how you be a friend to someone with depression.
