forty-five minutes today to surprise Alexia in her Tauriel cosplay. We\u2019ve been friends through a Facebook group of Houston cosplayers for a bit, and were planning to meet up for the first time at Comicpalooza in a couple of weeks. Then we figured out that I\u2019m actually friends with her cousin, who lives just a minute up the road from me, and she decided that she just had to do something for Alexia one-on-one before the convention.<br \/>Most of you have been following me long enough to see what an impact Tauriel has had on my daughter, and so this was so exciting for me.<\/p>\n<p>The look on Alexia\u2019s face when she first caught sight of her was pure starlight.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah has actually volunteered to come to her birthday party dressed up as Tauriel the weekend after the convention as well now that she\u2019s met her and fallen totally in love. I\u2019m going to keep that a secret until she arrives though, just to see that look on her face again.<br \/>I have met so many amazing people through the cosplay community over the years, and I\u2019d not trade it for the world.
