It breaks my heart.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>You can see the exact moment that Sherlock\u2019s brain catches up with the fact that John has just held him close, and is now slowly stroking a hand down his back. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Look at that second last gif. \u00a0John says,\u00a0\u201cCan you wait\u00a0\u2018til I sit down?\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And Sherlock\u2019s all,\u00a0\u201cOh yeah, sur\u2026\u201d (<i>ohhh\u2026<\/i> \u00a0*internally dying*). \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Like that wee little widening of his eyes in that last gif, just before he looks down a little! \u00a0Look at that, and look at what John\u2019s arm is doing while he\u2019s making those looks!<\/p>\n<p>Notice too, how neither of them can meet one another\u2019s gaze after that hug. \u00a0John pulls away and\u00a0doesn\u2019t even look at Sherlock, and then when he finally turns his head, Sherlock looks away.<\/p>\n<p>And John\u2019s face in that last gif, too. \u00a0As his hand reaches the small of Sherlock\u2019s back and drops away, he knows. \u00a0He just knows, and it\u2019s too damn late.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>sussexbound: socialapraxia: He looks so beautiful at the wedding.
