Steve and Bucky telling everyone that they\u2019re going to get married one day because they love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives with their best friend.<\/p>\n

Steve and Bucky being told that they can\u2019t say things like that because that\u2019s not what they meant, and marriage between two men is wrong and immoral.<\/p>\n

Steve and Bucky not telling each other as they get older that if they could, they\u2019d still dream to marry the other, because realizing that they\u2019re actually in love with each other only makes them want to spend the rest of their lives with their best friend even more.<\/p>\n

Steve and Bucky fighting in the war together, and Bucky telling Steve that if they ever win and make it home in one piece, he\u2019s going to fucking marry him somehow.<\/p>\n

Bucky falling from the train and Steve trying to get drunk because it hurts too much to think about the fact that he never got the chance to tell him \u201cyes\u201d.<\/p>\n

Steve and Bucky being reunited in the new world and told that men loving each other is okay now, and that they can even get married if they wanted to.<\/p>\n

Steve planning a gigantic proposal for Bucky, only for him to get on one knee and have Bucky get this most indignant look before whipping out a ring of his own and going, \u201cWhat the fuck, Rogers – after all these years and you\u2019re STILL stealin\u2019 my ideas?!\u201d <\/p>\n

Steve and Bucky getting married because they finally can – and having a \u201crock, paper, scissors\u201d battle at the altar in front of all their guests, because it turns out they BOTH wanted to include in their vows the fact that they finally get to spend the rest of their life with their best friend.<\/p>\n
