Elevate wounded limb so that gravity draws blood towards heart. Scalp wounds also bleed a lot but tend to be superficial. If it\u2019s dirty, risk infection. If it hits the digestive system and you don\u2019t die immediately, infection\u2019ll probably kill you. Don\u2019t forget the possibility of tetanus!
