<b>John<\/b> is shown with English oak , which symbolizes strength and courage; \u00a0Lestrade with irises, which are associated with faith, valor, friendship and wisdom.<\/p>\n<p><b> Sally<\/b> is shown under the tansy flower, which symbolizes hostile thoughts. \u00a0<b>Anthea<\/b> is under a blackberry. \u00a0\u00a0<b>Molly<\/b> is shown under the shy violet, a symbol of humility &#8211; apparently it doesn\u2019t think it counts. \u00a0The brambles over <b>Anderson<\/b>\u2019s head are prickly and intrusive &#8211; but you could probably use them to fed your pet dinosaur.<\/p>\n<p><b>Henry<\/b> has\u00a0wolfsbane over his head. \u00a0<b>Mrs. Hudson<\/b> favors lavender, a universal symbol for hominess and little old ladies, but it is also a tough and hardy plant which can thrive in a wide variety of environments (though it doesn\u2019t do well with damp; that may account for the trouble with the hip.) <b>Mike<\/b>\u2019s peaches are a symbol of abundance, but are there mostly just because he\u2019s peachy. \u00a0<b>Sholto<\/b>\u2019s red poppies symbolize fallen soldiers.<\/p>\n<p><b>Magnussen <\/b>is pictured with hemlock. \u00a0<b>Mary<\/b> with the flowers of the Judas tree. \u00a0<b>Irene<\/b> is shown with green willow, which is very flexible and willow rods are sometimes used for discipline. \u00a0<b>Jim<\/b> is, of course, shown under deadly nightshade.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I enjoy the art, muchly, but I absolutely *adore* the reasons for the choices of flowers in each images header.
