THEN LETS FUCKING TALK FOR EIGHT YEARS ABOUT THIS ONE GIF<\/p>\n

Not about Sam, but about Steve.\u00a0<\/p>\n

LOOK HOW RELAXED HE IS IN SAM\u2019S HOUSE. He\u2019s just chilling there, with Sam\u2019s OJ, that Sam definitely drinks straight from the bottle btw) He\u2019s leaned so far back into his chair that he has to actively sit up.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This is a man who just got chased around and nearly murdered by Nazis on several occasions, but he feels so safe and secure in Sam\u2019s house that he can melt into his chair and sip orange juice. Yes, he\u2019s probably bone dead tired and still thinking about the fact that what little he knew about everything is a fucking lie, but here\u2019s Steve in a similar situation:<\/p>\n

Bone tired, Loki has been fuckin shit up and the nice guy who made his really tight suit is ostensibly dead. But he\u2019s sitting forward, alert and thinking.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Overall I think Steve is a pretty tense and closed off person. He\u2019s always got this ridiculously rigid posture and doesn\u2019t seem to let himself go around anyone, including his team. \u00a0 Actually I think it\u2019s gotten more tense as time wears on.<\/p>\n

In CA:TFA, he\u2019s pretty relaxed, even with the new body.<\/p>\n

In The Avengers, unless actively fighting, he stands like his suit is lined with solid steel and not Kevlar.<\/p>\n

In TWS, it\u2019s even stronger. He stands like a hardened marine who\u2019s seen too much.\u00a0<\/p>\n

and also he has that JFC face that puts even my shadiest and saltiest of friends to shame:<\/p>\n

And of course, there\u2019s the RAEG OF STEVE, which really only apparently happens out of costume. (Interesting? Interesting.)<\/p>\n

But around Sam, he\u2019s super chill. He drops his shoulders and visually looks less like Captain spandex and more like a dude who wants to get to know Sam, possibly even in the biblical sense.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Shoulders dropped, open posture, smizing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/figure>\n

Then you see him more vulnerable than he\u2019s been in this entire series. Even skinny! Steve walked with more aggression than the dude who shows up on Sam\u2019s doorstep:<\/p>\n

he maintains that vulnerability when in Sam\u2019s presence through the entire movie, even when he\u2019s pissed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When he puts the suit on however, he squares right the fuck up<\/p>\n
