Ah, Queen Victoria and the Werewolves! I think there are weird aspects of that episode\u2026 for one thing, Rose prancing around in modern clothes for so long, and, like you said, the two of them being inappropriately silly (I\u2019ve always disliked the whole \u201cWe are not amused\u201d bit they had going). But I loved that this episode references Torchwood, and I liked the little \u201ctwist\u201d at the end about the royal family. And the supporting cast in that episode is particularly excellent. It\u2019s not one of my favorites, by far, but it\u2019s not one I mind watching. Sort of one of those \u201cbackground\u201d episodes where I don\u2019t necessarily pay much attention while I\u2019m watching it?<\/p>\n

Nothing, nothing, NOTHING will ever match my hatred I have for The Doctor\u2019s Wife. And I can\u2019t even explain WHY I hate it so much. I\u2019m even disappointed in myself, because it\u2019s written by Neil Gaiman, one of my favorite people on planet earth. And yet\u2026 HATE IT. With every fiber of my being. There\u2019s something a bit Tim Burton-y about it, I think, that I don\u2019t like (I am the ultimate problematic fave: I don\u2019t like Tim Burton at ALL).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well if you don\u2019t like Tim Burton I can see why you don\u2019t like it. Tooth and Claw did win me a trivia contest though. I won a Mister Potato Head Dalek for knowing who founded Torchwood (wanna see a picture of it?)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The eyes are just weird on it. I wasn\u2019t going to take it out of the box, but eventually it found its way out anyway. Yes, I have too many pop figures there in the background.
