Working six days a week, often 12 hours a day, he is responsible\u2014with the help of two assistants\u2014for managing the show\u2019s behind-the-scenes aspects. That also includes organizing rehearsals, coordinating between creative and technical crews and solving problems, such as how to replace an ensemble member mid-show.<\/p>\n<p>[\u2026]<\/p>\n<p><b>Have you had any mishaps?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We have mishaps all the time. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ArianaDeBose\/status\/655777236176498688\" target=\"_blank\">Last week, one of our cast members came off the stage during the first act. She had tweaked her neck during a big dance number and she struggled to try to stay on as long as possible<\/a>. As soon as I had a conversation with her, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/morgankei\/status\/655778258731057152\" target=\"_blank\">I told the swing to start getting ready and I told sound.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/morgankei\/status\/655778258731057152\" target=\"_blank\">As soon as it\u2019s comfortable, I make the switch.<\/a> It\u2019s actually a very smooth transition; the audience would never know.
