I was already sympathetic to the mutant cause. Why you gotta hate?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>You\u2019re not a mutant, honey, you\u2019re a mermaid.\u00a0 It\u2019s all right.\u00a0 Once your scales start coming in, you won\u2019t be as thirsty.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>You know, being a diagnostician in a world with more public magical creatures must be a trip and a half. \u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cExtreme thirst has a lot of causes. \u00a0Let\u2019s check your blood sugar, and let\u2019s take a skin sample to see if you\u2019re developing scales.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cJoint pain is pretty common when someone\u2019s pushing themself that way with training, and I\u2019d definitely recommend some rest, but it sounds like it\u2019s been coming on with the moon so we might want to do a blood test to check for lycanthropy.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cI\u2019m going to give you this journal. \u00a0Keep track of how often you\u2019re near bodies of water and copses of trees \u2013 not single trees, there needs to be a cluster.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cBear with me, I know you\u2019re lactose intolerant, but buy a pint of milk and keep it in your kitchen. \u00a0If it spoils faster than expected, we\u2019ll have a better idea of what\u2019s going on here.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHave you considered that you may not, in fact, actually be a mammal?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>seananmcguire: knitmeapony: seananmcguire: priscellie: Man.
