Either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>John\u2019s being honorable and going back to Mary for the baby <\/li>\n<li>John read the flash drive, lied about it, and is plotting either by himself or with Mycroft (<a href=\"http:\/\/wellthengameover.tumblr.com\/post\/97647703062\/sherlock-and-john-arent-plotting-together-against-mary\" target=\"_blank\">not Sherlock<\/a>) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are some weird looks that imply he read the flash drive:<\/p>\n<p>1) When Mary asks if John read the flash drive, he deflects twice and doesn\u2019t answer:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>MARY: So, have you read it?<br \/>JOHN: W-would you come here a moment?<br \/>MARY: No. Tell me. Have you?<br \/>JOHN: <i>Just <\/i>\u2026 come here.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Deflection, a classic lying tell. And a very \u201cJohn\u201d lying tell; he\u2019s not good at straight-up lying, so <i>he doesn\u2019t lie<\/i>. He doesn\u2019t answer the question at all. When else does he deflect? When he says \u201cI\u2019m not gay\u201d in answer to questions about his feelings for Sherlock. <\/p>\n<p>2) John looks down and turns the flash drive over in his hand, looking at it, when Mary asks him about it:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"tmblr-full\"><img alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/78.media.tumblr.com\/03487ee17559bdb0ace6726b677ecde3\/tumblr_inline_nsiff4fP2G1smi0t3_540.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"tmblr-full\"><img alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/78.media.tumblr.com\/147e513f5442e11638d6406572f037c0\/tumblr_inline_nsiffdO6vk1smi0t3_540.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"tmblr-full\"><img alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/78.media.tumblr.com\/c69a93e254520863a641cb71fb40ab67\/tumblr_inline_nsifflmeX71smi0t3_540.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>He\u2019s definitely thinking something over. I don\u2019t think that he\u2019s wondering if maybe he should\u2019ve read the flash drive after all &#8211; thinking \u201cThis is my last chance to back out\u201d &#8211; because that\u2019s not really in John\u2019s character, and he has had <i>six months <\/i>to decide.
