Ok but someone tell me why Harry didn\u2019t grow up to be the best Defense Against Dark Arts professor Hogwarts has ever known<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

RIGHT??? what is up with this he becomes an auror crap?? Harry would have loved being a teacher and watching his students improve throughout the years. Revamping the curriculum because if he could teach kids as a child himself how to cast a patronus, perhaps everything they think of as only NEWTs levels and beyond really just weren\u2019t taught well before.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Making him become an auror just makes him continue the fight he was forced into as a child and didn\u2019t enjoy, Harry enjoyed teaching the DA. Why wouldn\u2019t he chase after doing something he loves with his life????? And then he\u2019d be able to train the next generation to make sure that they can protect the world, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Two words: grading hell.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ummm how about because Hogwarts is his second career? \u00a0He\u2019d be an even BETTER teacher with years of field experience under his belt.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

OOoooohhh like\u00a0that <\/i>better\u2013Harry, retired for a year or two, driving his family up the walls because he\u2019s bored<\/i>\u00a0and not doing well sitting at home with no evil to fight, at which point Ginny is like,\u00a0\u201ctalk to Neville.<\/i>\u201d For an entire month. Every weird project, every half-finished balled-up page of his memoirs,\u00a0\u201cWEll have you\u00a0talked\u00a0to Neville yet?<\/i>\u201d<\/p>\n

The next July they movie to Hogsmeade. It is an excellent <\/i>year and Harry is still frequently late with his grading and at least once accidentally-on-purpose misplaces an entire stack of essays (it\u2019s in his office; he finds it after end-of-term) and does a field trip into the forbidden forest instead.<\/p>\n

The slytherins are all very surprised<\/i>\u00a0when Harry is a challenging but fair<\/i>\u00a0teacher who doesn\u2019t pick on his students even when they\u2019re brats<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
