He\u2019d missed enough life drawing classes\u00a0 for the sake of various missions, certainly, even since waking up. Cooking hadn\u2019t even made the list of potential hobbies yet.<\/p>\n<p>A thought occurred to Hill. \u201cYou might have met her, actually,\u201d she told him. \u201cShe was in the OSS.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Steve considered this. \u201cName doesn\u2019t ring a bell,\u201d he said. \u201cI knew a Child\u2013 Paul, I think it was\u2013 who took me and the rest of the squad to dinner in London once with some muckety-mucks. Too fancy for us by half, but it was good food.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s her husband!\u201d Hill said, face lighting up. \u201cShe married him after the war. You\u2019d know if you met her, though, she was six foot two with a voice like a foghorn\u2013\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHey, yeah!\u201d Steve said in surprise. \u201cJulia McWilliams, sure, I remember her. Only woman I knew who stood taller than me in heels, after the serum. Good analyst, too. I didn\u2019t know she liked to cook.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe didn\u2019t, \u2018til after the war,\u201d Hill said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, whaddaya know,\u201d Steve said.<\/p>\n<p>Later, he looked her up on Youtube, and there she was, large as life, perhaps a little grayer than he remembered, but dismembering lobsters with immense good cheer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHuh,\u201d Steve said, to no one in particular. \u201cJulia McWilliams. Who\u2019d have thought.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So. Much. Win.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Want to see him reacting to the\u00a0\u201csometimes, it doesn\u2019t work right.
