So when Sherlock deduces Mary is pregnant, he bases it on three symptoms: increased appetite, change in taste perception, vomiting. One theory is that Mary could have easily faked those symptoms.<\/p>\n

But another option I haven\u2019t seen (and if someone has written this up already, please help me out with a link!!) is that those symptoms were genuine but Sherlock deduced pregnancy when in fact they are symptoms of something else. Something possibly deadly? And that\u2019s why Mary looks so worried in TSoT, because she knows for sure she isn\u2019t pregnant.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And maybe now Sherlock is working that out? Because this whole consumption thing in TAB is pressed so hard on us. And this is a really heavy moment, there\u2019s a pause like this is a VERY important revelation\u2026<\/p>\n

The bride was dying. For awhile I kept wondering if this meant Jim was dying, because Jim is the bride. But it\u2019s not Jim\u2019s whose symptoms Sherlock has deduced. And the bride is also a mirror of Mary.<\/p>\n

There were clear signs\u2026she wasn\u2019t long for this world. \/\/ All the signs were there. The signs of three.<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n

Mary is very not pregnant in that mind palace. Sherlock doesn\u2019t even think<\/i>\u00a0about the baby. He goes through a fast-forward Victorian version of everything from meeting John through the tarmac and says\u00a0\u201cthe stage is set,\u201d but it\u2019s not, because while he set up to the point where the Watson\u2019s marriage was obviously in trouble, but there was NOTHING about the pregnancy. Maybe here, finally, Watson\u2019s saying she\u2019s dying<\/i>\u00a0is his brain telling him that this is because he deduced wrong?<\/p>\n

So she decided to make her death count.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Then there\u2019s the whole Moran thing, and\/or the idea that Mary is carrying out the Moriarty legacy, that Moriarty really is\u00a0\u201cmore than a man,\u201d that it\u2019s a GROUP.<\/p>\n

ASiP:\u00a0<\/b>You\u2019re not the only one to enjoy a good murder. There\u2019s others out there just like you, except you\u2019re just a man \u2026 and they\u2019re so much more than that. What d\u2019you mean, more<\/i> than a man? An organization? What?\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

TAB:\u00a0<\/b>A legend to strike terror into the heart of any man with malicious intent. A league of furies awakened.<\/i><\/p>\n

And there\u2019s also the planting of an idea, the technique Jim uses in TRF to get people to think Sherlock\u2019s the liar.<\/p>\n

TRF:\u00a0<\/b>You can\u2019t kill an idea, can you? Not once it\u2019s made a home in there. Moriarty is playing with your mind, too \u2013 can\u2019t you SEE what\u2019s going on?\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

TAB:\u00a0<\/b>Once the idea exists, it cannot be killed. This is the work of a single-minded person\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n

Ack. Crap. I don\u2019t know\u2026this is definitely a cracky crack theory, but\u2026.Mary as a dying vigilante. Adding it to my list of maybes.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
