Not just because of Bucky shooting Tony in the face, but because this looks an awful lot like Winter Soldier Bucky, not \u201cyou used to put newspapers in your shoes\u201d Bucky. We give Tony a lot of flack for what he\u2019s doing in this movie, but look at this. Is this his first interaction with Bucky? If so, he\u2019s not seeing Steve\u2019s childhood friend or a tortured victim. He\u2019s seeing the Winter Soldier, who murdered countless people and put Steve in a freaking hospital. (And how many times has that happened?)<\/p>\n<p>It isn\u2019t so much that I agree with Tony, but if this is the first time he\u2019s meeting Bucky, I can at least understand why he\u2019s doing what he\u2019s doing. Because this is a Bucky with a murderous glint in his eyes and no hesitation when he pulled the trigger. This is not the same Bucky we see later, poised carefully behind Steve, ready to protect his friend.<\/p>\n<p>It makes me hopefully that we really will get to see Bucky go back and forth while trying to undo decades of mind control.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>reclusiveq: I really feel like this scene is important.
