what would be the most amazing thing about Mark Hamill?<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s still married to Marilyn York. They\u2019ve been married since 1978. In 1978 he was in the peak of the Star Wars celebrity stuff. They were both in their 20s. They\u2019ve raised three kids. Had all the ups and downs we all do, plus his celebrity, fall from and return to ridiculous heights of celebrity.<\/p>\n<p>And they\u2019re still married. I don\u2019t believe in the fairytale &#8211; I\u2019ve now known too many older couples who in their 70s or 80s talk as if their lives together had been a minor fairytale &#8211; and if they can now be happy and gloss over the periods of bleakness or turmoil and unhappiness *I* remember, I\u2019m happy for them, but they happened. Which is to say: the Hammil\/York marriage may or may not have been one that you or I would have stayed with. But it\u2019s worked for them. <\/p>\n<p>And isn\u2019t THAT at least as amazing as The Force?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>YES.
