I\u2019m unbelievably excited! &lt;3<\/p>\n<p>So, if you know of <b><a href=\"http:\/\/jenna221b.tumblr.com\/post\/140326494175\/i-want-to-scream-but-i-cant-in-a-library\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a><\/b> post, you\u2019ll see that I received a first edition copy of <i>The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes<\/i>\u00a0which was sent to Glasgow\u00a0uni library for me. But, as it was a library book, I couldn\u2019t buy it\u2026 but I was told to try abebooks, a site that sells second-hand books, to see if I could find another copy.<\/p>\n<p><b>AND I DID. ANOTHER FIRST EDITION (JUNE 1934).\u00a0FOR A MERE \u00a318. OMG<\/b>. <\/p>\n<p>(And I laughed so hard when I saw it was published in Glasgow! &lt;3)<\/p>\n<p>It just arrived for me today and I still can\u2019t believe it\u2026 on the inside, the previous owner pasted in\u00a0a newspaper article with a picture of The Reichenbach Falls and I gasped when I saw it! &lt;3 <a class=\"tumblelog\" href=\"https:\/\/tmblr.co\/mgQXMXelYTVhS9eaD0P6xKA\" target=\"_blank\">@waitingforgarridebs<\/a> thinks the previous owner\u2019s inscription reads \u201cR.W. Kennedy\u201d maybe?? And I also saw \u201cWilliam Gillette, January 1st 1923\u2033 written on a photo of William Gillette- I checked, and the same is written in my library book copy\u2026 could it be his signature?!!<\/p>\n<p>Endless thank yous to <a class=\"tumblelog\" href=\"https:\/\/tmblr.co\/mDNNW5BQTiB36ZThA2wxURA\" target=\"_blank\">@ladymacphisto<\/a> for suggesting that I read this book\u00a0in the first place! <\/p>\n<p>JOIN ME IN SCREAMING ABOUT THIS SO I DON\u2019T FEEL ALONE IN MY EXCITEMENT \ud83d\ude09 &lt;3<\/p>\n<figure class=\"tmblr-full\"><img src=\"https:\/\/78.media.tumblr.com\/e9374c3e7d2bfb710b89d2257e62f12d\/tumblr_nd2d49HHhh1tq4of6o1_400.gif\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>OH MY GOD JENNA!!!
