Just because I took 30 seconds to comment on each chapter.<\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t matter if the fic is years old<\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t matter if you don\u2019t know what to say (\u201cI loved this\u201d is always music to an author\u2019s ears, no matter how many times we hear it)<\/p>\n<p>The author will not think you\u2019re a creeper if you\u2019re commenting on every single one of their fics<\/p>\n<p>The author WILL cuddle your comments close to their hearts like the precious gems that they are, even if they\u2019re only one word.<\/p>\n<p>Comments and feedback matter. I\u2019ve written in fandoms and for pairings that have very active, vocal fans who comment a lot, and I\u2019ve written for ships that are not terribly popular and don\u2019t get much reaction. The difference in my attitude is incredible. <\/p>\n<p>Your feedback matters to authors. Click the kudos button, but please, take the time to leave a comment. Even if it\u2019s just one word.
