Yoli: Story of the weekend<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n

At the Karl Urban panel he was asked
\nabout pranks on the Start Trek set (considering the infamous Neutron
\nCream from Into the Darkness.)<\/i><\/p>\n

The big one this time wasn\u2019t so
\nmuch as a prank, as a stunt gone wrong. \u00a0Karl had been down in LA doing
\nsomething for a couple of weeks for the film. \u00a0When he got back to
\nVancouver Simon Pegg and Chris Pine pounced on him about not responding
\nto the Dub Smash videos they had sent him.<\/i><\/p>\n

Apparently the boys had been dub-smashing left and right and sending it through to Karl and expecting him to return the joke.<\/i><\/p>\n


\n Karl said he had no idea what they were talking about. \u00a0Pegg argued he
\nwas taking the piss, but then it suddenly started to dawn on Mssrs Pine
\nand Pegg that Karl REALLY didn\u2019t know what they were talking about.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cPegg went white and asked what my number was\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n


\n Karl said, what do you think it is? \u00a0Pegg replied, the number you had
\nwhen we did Into the Darkness. \u00a0OH says Karl, you mean the phone they
\ngave me just for the duration of the shoot?<\/i><\/p>\n

Now Simon went VERY
\nVERY white\u2026 because\u2026 when they were larking about doing the
\ndub-smash, they had been wearing their costumes\u2026 their very closely
\nguarded SECRET costumes\u2026 \u00a0And now some random has just gotten hold of
\nthe main cast of Star Trek dancing around like fools in them\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n

They had to tell the producers\u2026 who were not impressed.<\/i><\/p>\n

They apparently did track the guy down and begged him to delete the offending texts.<\/i><\/p>\n


\n I am assuming that whomever it was probably was involved in the film
\nindustry (ie it was a \u2018company phone) and had done the right thing and
\njust sat on it because we hasn\u2019t seen any leaked images as far as I am
\naware.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n
