But you will look around one day and realize \u201choly shit I\u2019m almost 40\u2033. It\u2019s just a number and everyone feels that way.<\/li>\n<li>Buying popcorn by the bag and making it on the stove is cheaper then microwave.<\/li>\n<li>Splurge sometimes and get the expensive ice cream\/good chocolate\/a candy bar. it won\u2019t kill you and sometimes you just need a treat.<\/li>\n<li>That said, ice cream is a bad idea for breakfast<\/li>\n<li>Take a walk, if you can. Sunshine is good for you and it\u2019s too easy to hole up in the house and barely see the light of day.<\/li>\n<li>Go shopping late at night or early Sunday morning if you want to avoid the crowds. Never Sunday afternoon or just before a holiday.<\/li>\n<li>Never stop learning. Even if it\u2019s just reading a Wikipedia article that catches your eye<\/li>\n<li>You don\u2019t need to be ashamed of the things you love. It\u2019s perfectly fine to be a 45 year old who loves a tv show and writes fanfic, or a thirty year old that loves a boy band. You\u2019re never too old to love things.<\/li>\n<li>If you live with other people, and it\u2019s feasible, have a space of your own<\/li>\n<li>Avoiding looking at the bills doesn\u2019t make them go away<\/li>\n<li>Remember credit cards are high interest loans you need to pay back<\/li>\n<li>In this day and age there\u2019s a YouTube video for just about anything you\u2019d like to learn<\/li>\n<li>Try anything and everything, even if it scares you (well probably not hard drugs).
