Anniversary issue Dec\/Jan 2015 as one of the \u201cExemplary Art Books From The Past Two Decades\u201d and heralded as \u201cOne of the periods most successful New York books.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Murrays\u2019 new book <a href=\"http:\/\/gingkopress.com\/shop\/store-front-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Store Front II: A History Preserved, the Disappearing Face of New York<\/a> is the concluding part of a trilogy. It\u2019s their second \u201cdaytime\u201d book; the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jamesandkarlamurray.com\/JamesandKarlaMurraySTOREFRONT.html\" target=\"_blank\">first<\/a> was published in 2009 \u2013 with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jamesandkarlamurray.com\/JamesandKarlaMurrayPortfolioNewYorkNights.html\" target=\"_blank\">New York Nights<\/a> (2012), chronicling Big Apple facades after dark, sandwiched in between. Another volume is unlikely, given the commercial quicksands undermining these businesses.
