Sherlock was slumped in his chair. He stood as Greg came in and quickly crossed the room, taking his coat in both hands and kissing the older man desperately.<\/p>\n

\u201cSherlock.\u201d Greg gently pushed him back with a hand on his shoulder.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease,\u201d said Sherlock, almost trembling. \u201cI need\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou need John,\u201d he said as kindly as he could.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut he\u2019s married. Not here. On his honeymoon,\u201d Sherlock wrinkled his nose in disgust.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not even going to try and replace him.\u201d Greg watched his eyes as he fidgeted nervously.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou couldn\u2019t.\u201d Sherlock didn\u2019t mean to wound, but Greg\u2019s heart still dipped. \u201cJust tonight, please.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
