What an exhausting fight. For Kurt. For anyone.<\/p>\n<p>But Burt Hummel? He may not always understand Kurt, but he will always be amazed by him and love him so dearly. He looks at Kurt and sees every shining possibility open to his son\u2013his strong, talented, ambitious, loving, opinionated, <i>gay<\/i> son. Burt\u2019s acceptance and support of Kurt is absolute. <br \/>The world needs more Burt Hummels.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>YES. The world needs way more Burt Hummels. People who value honesty and authenticity over conformity and tradition. People who value other people not for the pretty mask they put on but for the beauty that\u2019s behind it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Burt Hummel isn\u2019t concerned with pretense and what\u2019s on the outside. A person is a person with all the little quirks that are a part of that and you don\u2019t have to understand everything they do but you damn well have to *respect* them.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And then there\u2019s the fact that Burt Hummel doesn\u2019t just accept Kurt. He\u2019s so damn proud of him. Burt Hummel loves his kid.
